About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support assigned account managers and customers with HVAC systems and equipment product selections, applications, proposals, and sales development
  • Quote, close, and transition Technician Leads and other service repair work
  • Generate estimates and proposals for service work
  • Provide quotes for service repairs, change-outs, IAQ, and energy solutions
  • Prepare time-and-material and fixed-price service quotes
  • Prepare transition documents
  • Communicate project readiness for assignment to the operations team
  • Develop long-term customer relationships
  • Maximize account penetration and customer retention by developing and offering HVAC system-related solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Minimum one year of experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC, or Facilities Management fields preferred
  • Candidates without a four-year degree are encouraged to apply
  • Practical experience and relevant skills valued
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred
  • Safety-sensitive role may require additional drug screening
