About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support assigned account managers and customers with HVAC systems and equipment product selections, applications, proposals, and sales development
- Quote, close, and transition Technician Leads and other service repair work
- Generate estimates and proposals for service work
- Provide quotes for service repairs, change-outs, IAQ, and energy solutions
- Prepare time-and-material and fixed-price service quotes
- Prepare transition documents
- Communicate project readiness for assignment to the operations team
- Develop long-term customer relationships
- Maximize account penetration and customer retention by developing and offering HVAC system-related solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- Minimum one year of experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC, or Facilities Management fields preferred
- Candidates without a four-year degree are encouraged to apply
- Practical experience and relevant skills valued
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred
- Safety-sensitive role may require additional drug screening
