About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service and maintain various laboratory equipment at customer locations
Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving refrigeration and electronics
Use testing equipment and read wiring diagrams
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs
Maintain accurate service records
Follow safety protocols
Work occasional overtime and rotate on-call duties
Service equipment including freezers, refrigerators, centrifuges, chillers, backup systems, chambers, dryers, washers, incubators, ovens, shakers, steam generators, and related laboratory equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Refrigeration training and 2+ years of hands-on experience
Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with a clean record
Universal EPA Certification preferred
Electrical and control troubleshooting experience required
Willingness to pass a government background check
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Trade School Certificate, Military/Formal Training, or equivalent experience
Hands-on expertise in refrigeration and electronics
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Proficiency with testing equipment and reading wiring diagrams
Understanding of mechanical and electrical repairs
Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records
Adherence to safety protocols
Availability for occasional overtime and rotating on-call duties
Safety-sensitive role; may require additional drug screening
