About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead implementation of service contracts, system upgrades, repairs, and lifetime customer connectivity
- Support sales through contract pricing for parts and service
- Coordinate field service activities and manage technicians
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate emergency repairs, maintenance contracts, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long-term service agreements
- Attract, coach, counsel, train, and develop service employees
- Drive continuous improvement through performance management and technical product training
- Develop customer service, process, and technical skills across the service team
- Maximize cash flow through immediate invoicing, expense budget management, and increased service-team utilization
- Create and enforce standard service work processes
- Improve customer-experience processes and overall customer satisfaction
- Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance
- Provide safety and productivity training for shop and customer-site work
- Travel to customer job sites, including outdoor areas and mechanical/equipment rooms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an industrial sales business setting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing teams, processes, and budgets
- Knowledge of HVAC Controls and Building Automation Systems preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit and run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Ability to travel to customer job sites
- Ability to work in outdoor areas and mechanical/equipment rooms
- Ability to work safely around variable weather, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other environmental conditions
- May be required to pass additional drug screening for this safety-sensitive role
