About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the front-line contact for customers and internal sales partners on dealer order management inquiries
  • Identify models, find pricing and availability, match HVAC systems, and offer system solutions
  • Drive customer engagement and own resolution from initial order request through post-delivery
  • Collaborate and follow up with multiple teams to deliver customer needs
  • Respond to and resolve order management inquiries
  • Support model identification, pricing, availability, system match-ups, promotions, and system solutions
  • Process customer orders, including promise dates and order entry
  • Manage orders from placement to invoicing through phone, email, text, and chat
  • Run order reports, fix misses and holds, and close open orders and returns
  • Use operating-system functionality to support order fulfillment and customer activity
  • Refer to and create standard work to maximize efficiency
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve order flow and customer experience
  • Attend team meetings, manager meetings, and trainings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or outside sales, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening
  • Customer focus
  • Change-oriented approach
  • Problem-solving skills
