About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute territory planning and strategic relationship management across healthcare, pharma, biotech, academic/research, CDMO customers, and associated OEM services
- Drive value creation, share gain, and profitable revenue growth across the Life Science Solutions portfolio
- Prospect new and existing direct customers and cultivate channel-partner relationships
- Identify key stakeholders involved in capital-equipment budget planning and decision-making
- Communicate solution offerings and value propositions to scientific, procurement, channel, supply-chain, and capital-planning decision-makers
- Assemble and coordinate project or program development teams to solve customer problems and win business
- Partner with sales operations leadership to optimize business-development processes and develop repeatable segment solutions
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with channel, strategic, and direct customers
- Lead and support account planning and reviews to achieve financial targets
- Use CRM and reporting tools daily to track leads, relationship expansion, and funnel health
- Negotiate strategically to achieve growth and margin objectives
- Research and participate in healthcare and biosciences trade shows, professional networks, and territory events
- Travel regularly, up to 50%, to engage key customer stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Sales experience involving complex, multi-channel go-to-market environments, capital equipment, and/or business development in Life Sciences, biopharma, or healthcare segments
- Technical knowledge of cold storage, process equipment, or biotech/biopharma R&D process optimization is a plus
- Proven ability to generate and qualify leads
- Ability to develop customer solutions using business insights
- Ability to create value and demand, close new business, and grow existing account relationships
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working autonomously and cross-functionally
- Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit and run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous three years
- Must reside within a major metropolitan area in Alabama or Georgia
- Ability to travel regularly, up to 50%
- Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required
