About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation
Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction
Provide technical expertise for resolving manufacturing process and product design problems involving welding and/or braze processes
Support cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls
Ensure welding process code and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing facility
Uphold manufacturing standards for machine capability, process maps, setups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times
Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work
Partner with on-site EHS to ensure equipment meets OSHA safety regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Project management experience
Process automation experience
AutoCAD or similar design software experience
MIG welding experience, manual and robotic
TIG welding experience, manual and robotic
Knowledge of ASME, AWS, and PED code compliance
Familiarity with pressure vessel welding processes
Ability to coach, advise, and develop teammates and peers
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply
Safety-sensitive role may require additional drug screening
