About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for customers in a defined commercial market
Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems
Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements
Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
Serve as direct customer contact and manage products and equipment on assigned projects
Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
Use software, technology, and hand tools while following blueprints or engineering specifications
Maintain flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business requires
Enforce safety standards
Record use, wear, and condition of company-issued and procured assets to maintain security and accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC
Technical School or formal training preferred
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Working proficiency with a handheld computer, such as a smartphone or iPad
Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months
No major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
EPA Certification
Ability to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays
Ability to pass additional drug screening for this safety-sensitive role
