About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out installations of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in line with customer specifications
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Complete routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works
- Produce condition reports, identifying and documenting any remedial works required
- Ensure refrigeration systems comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation for all work undertaken
- Work independently and as part of a wider team
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Provide professional, customer-focused service
- Attend customer sites across Cumbria and Southwest Scotland for reactive call-outs, installations, and PPM works
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience working within the refrigeration and HVAC industry
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service, maintenance, and installation
- Current F-Gas certification
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Flexible approach to work, including participation in the on-call rota
