About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate with the team leader, project manager, and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements
  • Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
  • Serve as the direct customer contact for assigned projects
  • Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
  • Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems
  • Use software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays
  • Enforce safety standards
  • Record the use, wear, and condition of company-issued and procured assets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC
  • Technical School or formal training preferred
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Working proficiency with a handheld computer such as a smartphone or iPad
  • Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months
  • No major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to pass additional drug screening for this safety-sensitive role
