About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts
Use Splunk to investigate security events
Design, develop, automate and tune Splunk detection rules
Build and enhance automation and AI-driven workflows
Perform proactive threat hunting
Support administration and optimization of SIEM platform (Splunk)
Partner with Engineering and Technology teams for security best practices
Participate in the On-Call Rota with the Team
Produce documentation, dashboards and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience with Splunk
Experience designing, automating and improving threat detection capabilities
Strong technical knowledge across cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking or cloud technologies
Experience with security technologies such as Microsoft Defender and EDR solutions
Experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
Knowledge in vulnerability management
Experience working within an e-commerce or high-traffic digital environment
Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills
Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI DSS or ISO 27001 would be helpful
