About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver well-scoped web development tasks and tickets
  • Write solid, testable code in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React
  • Contribute to a high-quality codebase by following team standards
  • Build understanding of web technologies through hands-on delivery
  • Support the full development lifecycle with guidance from senior engineers
  • Help learn what works best for customers by contributing to experiments
  • Read and update documentation for team clarity
  • Engage in team ceremonies, retrospectives and discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Some hands-on experience building web applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Working knowledge of React & Typescript
  • An understanding of good engineering practices, including writing clean, testable code
  • A customer-focused mindset and an interest in understanding software changes
  • A collaborative approach, with confidence communicating
  • A proactive learning mindset, with ability to seek support
  • An interest in Agile practices
  • Exposure to technologies such as Node, GraphQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform or GitHub Actions is helpful
