About the role
- Development and maintenance of Java services in a service-oriented architecture (REST)
- Driving internal features for projects from idea to development and production deployment
- Participation in service deployment and writing related documentation
- Task estimation, elaboration, and execution within the team based on Scrum
- Bug investigation and support in their resolution
- Code review and writing unit tests for your code
- Maintain and develop high-load projects such as PaperTrading and internal quote-history services
Requirements
- Experience working with Java SE
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
- Understanding and application of algorithms, data structures, and multithreading
- Knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
- Basic knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, HTTP) and operating systems
- Experience working with message brokers
- Architectural approach to development
- Experience working with Git
- Proficiency in technical English
- Willingness to learn Go (advantage)
- Understanding and experience in trading and investing (advantage)
