About the role

  • Test backend microservices, APIs, and internal integrations.
  • Analyze architecture, write test cases, test scenarios, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Verify data integrity across database levels, business logic, and service communications.
  • Participate in load and stress testing, and analyze system stability metrics.
  • Collaborate with Developers and DevOps engineers to enhance system resilience and fault tolerance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years specifically in backend or API testing.
  • Deep understanding of client-server architecture and microservices principles.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger, or DevTools.
  • Proficiency in Python (automated testing using pytest/unittest frameworks).
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience in a Unix environment, including log analysis and bash scripting.
  • Solid knowledge of protocols and formats: HTTP, WebSocket, JSON.
  • Will be a plus
  • Experience in load, performance, or security testing.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Grafana, Kibana, Sentry).
  • Background in Fintech, Trading, or SaaS products.
  • Understanding of brokerage APIs or market data processing.
