About the role
- Contribute to the design of group-wide reporting standards and planning foundations, including reporting hierarchies and budget/forecast cadence, identifying automation and process improvement opportunities along the way.
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, and Product to deliver timely financial insights, KPI tracking, and business cases, translating numbers into clear, actionable language for non-finance stakeholders.
- Support and streamline the monthly close cycle, working closely with the finance team to improve the speed, accuracy, and structure of the close process and progressively contributing to the build-out of group consolidation and management reporting.
- Support ad-hoc strategic finance work, including scenario modelling and new market or initiative analysis.
Requirements
- 2-3 years in FP&A, financial controlling, or strategic finance, ideally in a fintech, investment banking or a scale-up
- Highly analytical with exceptional financial modeling skills and strong attention to detail. Driven to use financial data for clear insights and actionable plans, guiding decision-making by breaking down complex issues.
- Proven experience improving close processes and financial reporting workflows in a fast-moving environment
- Exposure to group reporting concepts including consolidation, multi-currency, and intercompany
- Solid command of ERP and planning tools (NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar) combined with strong data visualisation skills, with experience in tools like Tableau, Power BI or similar to turn financial data into clear, compelling insights
