About the role

  • You plan and forecast together with the CEO and continuously develop our existing financial plan and business model.
  • You prepare meaningful financial metrics and decision support materials for board, management, and investor meetings.
  • You act as a Finance Business Partner for management — providing peer-level sparring on budget and performance.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving monthly and quarterly financial statements and for preparing investor reporting for the CEO.
  • You take end-to-end ownership of finance and accounting, working closely with our tax advisor/external accounting firm.
  • You analyze, optimize, and build scalable finance and reporting processes and continuously improve them.
  • You take ownership of data privacy and contract management processes, including filing and documentation structures, quality management, and training.

Requirements

  • You have several years of finance experience in a start-up or scale-up and have worked directly with executive management.
  • You work with great attention to detail, act independently, and know how to reliably check your work for errors.
  • You understand different areas of finance and can quickly grasp how they interrelate.
  • You are proactive, drive operational topics forward, and enjoy working on projects.
  • You interact confidently with various stakeholders, especially on budget matters, and bring a senior-level presence and relevant experience.
  • A degree in finance or a related field is a plus.
