About the role
- Achieve quarterly goals in new ARR within the calendar year, with clear alignment to sales outcomes
- Consistently meet or surpass weekly and monthly metrics directly tied to sales performance and client engagement
- Foster a collaborative culture of teamwork, optimism, and work ethic, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude
- Identify new methods for prospecting and generating business opportunities
- Work closely with SDR to ensure timely follow-up on CRM leads
- Effectively prioritize tasks, especially within CRM systems, ensuring follow-up within designated timelines for optimal engagement
- Show flexibility, coachability, and a desire for continuous improvement and career development
- Partner with colleagues to enhance sales performance through shared insights and coordinated efforts
- Develop an understanding of state legislative policies across assigned territories to identify opportunities and align offerings
- Engage with clients to cultivate long-term relationships
- Identify and prioritize relevant associations and regional/district meetings within assigned territory to present our value proposition
- Know the market and competitive landscape and be able to make intelligent, effective decisions for reaching target audiences
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in sales role, specifically the SaaS industry
- Sales to law enforcement a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a similar field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging with high-level decision-makers
- Ability to analyze and understand state legislative policies that may impact the industry
- Strong organizational skills and experience with CRM systems
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of the law enforcement sector and evidence management solutions is a plus
- Previous experience in sales or business development within the public sector, a plus
