Learning and Development Specialist
TPIS-Temporary Professional Integrated ServicesLearning & Development Specialist coordinating training programs and identifying employee development needs. Engaging with leaders and staff to foster continuous learning and growth in the company.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, coordinate, and facilitate training programs for employees and leadership teams.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Develop engaging learning materials, presentations, job aids, and e-learning content.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Track and measure training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with department leaders to create development plans aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate external training vendors, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement and continuous learning initiatives across the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, learning technologies, and best practices in training and development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Human Resources, or a related area.
- Experience facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
