Respond to calls and emails from customers who are currently traveling or who wish to purchase or research travel, following standard procedures and scripts.
Greet and engage customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
Effectively convert customer inquiries into sales.
Use appropriate sales techniques to meet revenue targets and closing rate goals.
Research travel fares, destinations, options, and packages for customers.
Read provided scripts verbatim while maintaining sales and quality standards.
Accurately respond to general questions about travel and destinations.
Provide information, suggestions, and options in a way that is accurate, effectively meets customer needs, and encourages purchases.
Accurately track and report call types and service issues.
Promote and sell products or services.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
College diploma (preferred)
Two years of experience in sales, telemarketing, upselling, and customer service (required)
Two years of experience in the business or leisure travel industry (required)
One year of international booking/reservation experience
Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to handle customer calls from English- and French-speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.
