About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a Compliance Management System
- Prepare for internal and external audits
- Apply regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin, GwG - German Anti-Money Laundering Act, GDPR) and support projects implementing new legal requirements
- Further develop internal anti-money laundering policies, and conduct trainings and compliance checks
- Assess and track fraud cases and derive sustainable corrective measures
- Ensure compliance with data protection requirements and maintain records of processing activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Law, Business Informatics, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in compliance roles
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services environment (MaRisk, GwG, GDPR)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues clearly
- High initiative, independent working style and strong team orientation
- Analytical thinking, flexibility and a structured approach to new challenges
- Fluent written and spoken German and good command of English
