About the role

  • Support for forecasting and planning processes (balance sheet, P&L, KPIs), including coordination of cross-functional inputs
  • Establishment of profit center and segment accounting, analysis of different revenue streams and presentation of results in the reporting tool
  • Contribute to strategic planning documents in cooperation with management and executive leadership
  • Develop and recommend measures to manage KPIs in accordance with corporate guidelines
  • Prepare and comment on monthly management reports for executive management and the parent company
  • Provide external reports as well as internal (ad hoc) analyses (e.g., scenarios, project costs, revenue streams)
  • Perform cost center and cost type accounting including provisions and accruals
  • Analyze OPEX/CAPEX variances and advise cost center managers

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the financial services sector
  • Experience in profitability analysis and management reporting; BI experience desirable
  • Strong IT affinity; proficient in SAP, MS Office and BI tools (Power BI)
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS and risk management methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Fluent German and very good written and spoken English
