About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform commercial HVAC/R service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions
- Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems and related equipment
- Service commercial HVAC equipment ranging from 1–50 tons
- Work on commercial refrigeration systems, gas and oil-fired boilers, electrical systems, and digital controls
- Communicate professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
- Follow service standards, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions
- Accurately complete work orders and service documentation using mobile and web-based applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Graduate of an accredited HVAC technical school or training program
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills
- Ability to safely operate a service vehicle and maneuver in tight spaces
- Willingness to learn and work on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Valid Driver’s License
- EPA Certification
- OSHA Certification
