About the role
- Build strong partnerships with site leaders and employees, serving as a trusted HR advisor and problem-solver.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and performance management support.
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) HR support to ensure inclusive communication across all levels of the organization.
- Design and implement onboarding and orientation programs that enhance engagement and retention.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws and maintain accurate HR documentation.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate actionable reports to support business decisions.
- Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures in both English and Spanish for clarity and consistency.
- Support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding.
- Partner with staffing agencies to manage contingent labor needs and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with managers on performance management, training, and coaching initiatives.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development teams to create and deliver impactful training programs.
- Analyze HR metrics such as turnover and engagement to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Lead employee recognition and engagement initiatives that reinforce Tosca’s values and culture.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment assistance and employee education.
- Manage special projects and contribute to strategic HR initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment; multi-site experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred to support effective workforce communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw insights for decision-making.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality and discretion.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to change, supporting a wide range of HR functions.
- Ability to travel by air and car up to 25% to support regional service centers.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to support 24/7 operational sites.
