About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using C#.NET, VB.NET, WPF, and XAML
Build and enhance web applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET, Angular, HTML, CSS, Typescript, and Tailwind
Write clean, maintainable, object‑oriented code following established patterns and principles
Participate in daily remote team meetings and collaborate asynchronously throughout the day
Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping the team informed
Contribute to secure development practices aligned with government cybersecurity requirements
Use Azure DevOps for project management, version control, and CI/CD workflows
Deploy applications to Windows, Linux, and Azure cloud environments
Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/engineering discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET
Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts and principles
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical teammates
Possess the ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations
Working knowledge of computer systems and understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software
Comfortable learning new languages, frameworks, and tools when needed
Resides within commuting distance for occasional on‑site collaboration
Successful candidate may be required to travel, both domestic and international; possessing a USA passport or having the ability to obtain one is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance
