Optimize paid media and manage aspects of global SEM, paid social and display campaigns to acquire quality clients for Toptal.
Support from Business Analytics, Creative, and Customer teams to handle strategy, execution, and analysis.
Facilitate and generate performance marketing ideas; organize, plan, and execute performance marketing initiatives.
Maximize paid media driven revenue and identify new opportunities across paid social, display, affiliate and other channels.
Help craft and hit KPIs and OKRs with Executives, Marketing Strategists, and Senior Leadership.
Build forecasts and projections relating to expected ROI, traffic, and user acquisition requiring robust financial analysis.
Maintain playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards to maximize impact of experiments and long-term tracking.
Collaborate with creative and content teams on ad copy, visuals, and landing pages to improve CTR and conversion rates.
Lead stakeholder calls with analysis, recommendations, performance and status updates.
Build and refine audience strategies leveraging first-party data, lookalike modeling, in-market segments, and contextual targeting.
Design and execute structured A/B and multivariate tests on audiences, creatives, and placements.
Create detailed campaign dashboards and recurring reports; translate findings into actionable recommendations for scaling and efficiency.
Monitor audience trends and reallocate budget toward high-performing cohorts to maximize ROAS and lead generation.
Deliver tactical presentations with results, insights and forward recommendations.
Onboarding and expected milestones: integrate with teams, understand paid media history and roadmap, take ownership of paid social, display and affiliate strategies and co-own SEM strategy, launch growth ideas and demonstrate impact within six months to one year.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of experience in SEM (search engine marketing).
At least one year of paid social (e.g., LinkedIn), OLV (YouTube) and/or programmatic display experience highly preferred.
Expertise with annual Paid Media budgets in excess of $2M.
Experience ideating, implementing, analyzing, and promoting Paid Media growth strategies end-to-end.
Ability and willingness to review final work products with meticulous attention to detail (analytical and creative).
Demonstrated experience growing revenue at scale via performance marketing, preferably within a B2B technology or services company.
Experience with A/B testing strategies and multivariate experiments.
Experience summarizing results into slide decks and presenting to large teams and executives.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience working with stakeholders across time zones and geographies.
Innate curiosity, willingness to learn, and obsession with growth performance.
Self-motivated remote worker; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
