About the role
- Develop and maintain data pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Model data for consumption by reports, APIs, and data products.
- Implement best practices for data quality, versioning, and data testing.
- Optimize query performance and data loading processes.
- Collaborate with product, BI, and engineering teams to understand requirements.
- Monitor systems, handle incidents, and ensure solution reliability.
- Document processes, data flows, and data standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a Mid-level Data Developer / Data Engineer.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) focused on data.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases and/or data warehouses.
- Experience with ETL/ELT and pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, dbt, etc.).
- Proficiency in languages such as Python or Scala for data processing.
- Good version control practices (Git) and collaborative development experience.
- Fluent in Portuguese and available for 100% remote work.
- Experience with Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
