About the role

  • Manage SAP S/4HANA, ECC and BW environments, as well as satellite solutions
  • Perform AMS activities: incidents, problem and change management
  • Execute upgrades, apply support packages, perform kernel updates and implement SAP Notes
  • Monitor performance, perform tuning and Basis troubleshooting
  • Manage users, profiles, roles and basic security
  • Perform client copies and environment refreshes
  • Collaborate with functional teams, development and infrastructure

Requirements

  • Solid experience as an SAP Basis consultant in AMS environments (mid-level)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or migrations from ECC to S/4HANA
  • Knowledge of SAP system administration (installation, configuration, monitoring)
  • Experience with transports, STMS, performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with databases (HANA and/or other relational databases)
  • English for technical reading and interaction with documentation/vendors
  • Availability to work under a contractor arrangement (PJ) and remotely
  • Experience in migrations to HANA or S/4HANA (Greenfield/Brownfield)
  • Experience with Solution Manager, ChaRM and monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of SAP security, GRC or cloud integrations
  • Intermediate/advanced spoken English
