About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute territory-specific marketing plans that drive guest traffic, reservations, and revenue, aligned with brand standards and national campaign priorities.
  • Localize national promotions, seasonal campaigns, and membership/loyalty initiatives for each market's unique guest profile and competitive landscape.
  • Serve as the primary marketing voice in the field, partnering with venue General Managers and Regional Operations on in-venue execution and guest experience.
  • Identify and respond quickly to local market dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Own local accountability for venue traffic KPIs, including reserved play, walk-in visits, frequency of return, and spend-per-visit.
  • Develop targeted promotions and local offers to stimulate demand during off-peak periods and capitalize on high-opportunity windows like summer and holidays.
  • Activate and promote the seasonal pass program within the territory, maximizing awareness and conversion online and in-venue.
  • Partner with venue teams to optimize the guest journey from booking through the in-bay experience.
  • Drive acquisition and engagement for membership and loyalty programs, with a focus on avid golfers and high-frequency guests.
  • Execute locally relevant tactics to promote membership and seasonal pass offerings at venues with strong golf-centric guest profiles.
  • Partner with marketing and CRM teams to deploy segmented messaging to the right guest profiles through the right local channels.
  • Relay on-the-ground guest feedback and market intelligence to inform membership and loyalty strategy.
  • Identify and manage local partnerships, sponsorships, and cross-promotions with businesses, golf clubs, sports organizations, and community groups.
  • Build relationships with local media, influencers, and community voices to amplify brand presence.
  • Support golf-specific activations and industry partnerships that deepen engagement with the avid golf community.
  • Leverage local sports, entertainment, and community calendars to create timely, revenue-driving promotions.
  • Oversee local digital execution including paid social, local search/SEO, email, and geo-targeted advertising in coordination with the performance marketing team.
  • Manage venue-level social media presence, ensuring content is on-brand, locally relevant, and drives engagement and conversion.
  • Maintain a consistent, compelling brand voice across digital, social, PR, and in-venue channels.
  • Identify and engage local content creators and brand advocates to expand organic reach.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics for the territory, including traffic trends, campaign ROI, membership acquisition, and guest satisfaction.
  • Leverage analytics tools, CRM data, and local market research to inform decisions and optimize spend.
  • Maintain a test-and-learn mindset, pilot new local tactics and sharing best practices with the broader field marketing team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated success in local, field, or regional marketing roles; multi-unit hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, or retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and traffic results at the market level through integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong command of digital marketing channels including paid social, local SEO, email, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Experience managing CRM tools and leveraging data and guest segmentation to develop targeted, conversion-focused campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous campaigns and venue priorities across a defined territory with minimal oversight.
  • Strong community presence and relationship-building skills, with experience cultivating local partnerships, sponsorships, and media relationships.
  • A collaborative partner to operations teams, able to influence without authority and align venue teams around marketing plans.
  • Experience in membership-driven businesses or loyalty program activation is a plus.
  • Golf knowledge or passion for the golf entertainment category is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
