About the role

  • Create and implement a sales strategy to drive Topcon’s sales in the DACH region
  • Develop business plans and sales strategies for the market
  • Manage aftermarket distribution channels and client relationships
  • Identify and develop necessary sales and marketing plans and tools
  • Establish sales and revenue objectives on an annual and quarterly basis
  • Collaborate with Topcon OEM Sales Team and distributor to ensure consistent market approach
  • Conduct sales and technical training for distribution channels
  • Responsible for managing existing OEM accounts

Requirements

  • Minimum 6/7 years of experience in AG sector
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing and retaining key accounts
  • Previous experience in the precision agriculture sector is mandatory
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships along with good analytical skills to understand the needs and requirements of client
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong persuasion and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate as required
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to build and lead a sales team
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Agriculture, or equivalent work experience
  • Availability to travel up to 60% of the time
