About the role
- Create and implement a sales strategy to drive Topcon’s sales in the DACH region
- Develop business plans and sales strategies for the market
- Manage aftermarket distribution channels and client relationships
- Identify and develop necessary sales and marketing plans and tools
- Establish sales and revenue objectives on an annual and quarterly basis
- Collaborate with Topcon OEM Sales Team and distributor to ensure consistent market approach
- Conduct sales and technical training for distribution channels
- Responsible for managing existing OEM accounts
Requirements
- Minimum 6/7 years of experience in AG sector
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience managing and retaining key accounts
- Previous experience in the precision agriculture sector is mandatory
- Ability to develop strong working relationships along with good analytical skills to understand the needs and requirements of client
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong persuasion and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate as required
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to build and lead a sales team
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Agriculture, or equivalent work experience
- Availability to travel up to 60% of the time
