About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As CFO LATAM at Topaz, you will play a central role in corporate governance, the CEO relationship, financial structuring and key decision-making, ensuring financial strength and scalability of the business.
Lead short-, medium- and long-term financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth plan.
Act directly on IPO readiness, including corporate structuring, internal controls, audits and regulatory compliance.
Lead FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Tax Planning, Legal, Payroll, Controllership, Procurement and Facilities.
Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, advisors and the capital markets.
Define and monitor financial KPIs, performance metrics, cash flow, fundraising and capital allocation.
Implement and strengthen corporate governance, internal controls and risk management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP, when applicable) and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive position.
Strong background in high-growth companies, scale-ups or organizations undergoing professionalization.
Experience in financial companies or financial services.
Experience not only in Brazil but also internationally, especially across Latin America.
Solid knowledge of corporate finance, governance, compliance and risk management.
Experience interacting with the Board, Board of Directors and investors.
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related fields.
Advanced Spanish (mandatory); English is a plus.
