About the role
- Responsible for preparing documentation and configuring the systems that make up Topaz's portfolio.
- Serve as the liaison between the client and the technical team for needs and/or features within the software development process, from requirements gathering through to monitoring production implementation.
- Participate in the support/maintenance process, performing basic operational and functional analyses of the product/project with support from Topaz's technical staff and other internal analysts.
- Work with a focus on leading, modern methodologies used in Topaz’s day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders focused on agility and the continuous improvement of Topaz's processes.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, and technical support.
- Basic knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
- Balance between technical fundamentals and the ability to quickly learn the financial business.
- Ability to work well in a team and strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to deadlines and delivering quality results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to new agile methodologies and ways of working.
- Proactive attitude to identify system errors and propose solutions for support incidents.
- Ability to interact with different areas (Business and IT) and support more experienced analysts.
- Basic knowledge of JIRA (project management and support tool).
- Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements, document workflows, capture system-specific rules, and create prototypes.
- Curiosity to understand the overall context of projects and Topaz's proprietary tools.
- Knowledge of programming logic for requirements analysis is a plus, as are basic database concepts.
