About the role

  • You will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of control scenarios to detect unusual or suspicious transactions.
  • You will build and tune mass processes (ETL) using primarily SQL/Oracle and Kettle (Pentaho).
  • You will develop and maintain analytical reports using Jasper Reports.
  • You will provide functional and technical support to clients, handling incidents and adjustments to existing processes.
  • You will collaborate with the team to create new features within the AML platform.
  • You will work with APIs and internal services that integrate information between systems.
  • You will take part in data analysis, functional testing, and validation of scenario results.

Requirements

  • Relational databases (required) — ideally SQL and Oracle.
  • Experience (academic or professional) with a backend language or ETL processes (Java, Kettle, or others).
  • Object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools.
  • Basic knowledge of consuming APIs.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients.
  • Analytical capacity, proactivity, customer orientation, and teamwork.
  • Degree or student in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems, or Systems Analysis.
  • Knowledge of the financial business or interest in learning about banking and compliance (desirable).
  • Intermediate English; Portuguese is desirable.
