About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take over and stabilize the existing international business across a broad portfolio of countries (including Italy, Spain, UK, Ireland, Benelux and Latin America)
  • Independently manage and expand key accounts — from international industrial clients to large trading and processing groups
  • Define the international expansion strategy in close cooperation with the CEO: which countries to target and how, and where to prioritize growth
  • Gradually build and lead the international sales team (currently 3, prospectively 5–7 people), including recruiting A‑players
  • Be hands‑on in the market: sell directly and lead the team by example

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in international B2B sales, ideally in key account management with long sales cycles
  • Comfortable in a corporate environment (structured, strategic, strong presentation skills) — while also adept at a direct commercial/trade sales culture with smaller customers
  • Strong hands‑on mentality and a genuine enjoyment of selling personally
  • Potential or proven experience in leadership: building and developing teams and selecting the right people
  • Strong organizational skills, confidence with demanding customers, proactivity and true listening skills
  • Fluent German and English; Spanish (and possibly Italian) is an advantage
  • Experience in the construction sector is helpful but not required — decisive are sales DNA and the combination of strategy and pragmatism
