About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites for Salesforce applications, Experience Cloud portals, integrations, and the Mid-Market product
Extend automated test coverage to the Mid-Market product and, as capacity allows, the public website
Automate dynamic Lightning and LWC interfaces using Playwright and Selenium, including Shadow DOM, iframes, and non-deterministic element IDs
Use AI-assisted techniques for test generation, self-healing locators, authoring, maintenance, and debugging
Build API and integration test automation at the service layer
Integrate automated suites into CI/CD and version control so tests run continuously
Triage, diagnose, and report test failures
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing and support UAT
Execute test cases and document results, defects, and issues
Work with developers, functional consultants, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Deliver concise test strategy and results documentation
Exchange knowledge and ideas with team members
Stay informed about testing techniques, automation frameworks, AI-assisted testing, and Salesforce
Proactively learn company, delivery, and business processes and existing implementations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fluent in English
Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in an international organization
4+ years in QA
2+ years of hands-on test automation experience
Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks with Playwright and Selenium
Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python
Experience automating dynamic web UIs, including Shadow DOM and Lightning-style components
Experience using AI tools for test creation, maintenance, or debugging
Experience with API test automation, such as Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Copado
Experience with Git version control
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, such as Jira
Good functional understanding of Salesforce
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of SOQL
Salesforce-specific automation tools, performance/load testing, CRM Analytics, Pardot, and relevant Salesforce certifications are nice to have
Based in or around Pune is nice to have, but not required
