About the role
- Lead and unify the global accounting function
- Key responsibility for implementing SAP S/4HANA and ensuring scalability
- Lead and mentor a team of 20+
- Manage periodic closings (IFRS/HGB) and maintain relationships with auditors
- Demonstrate leadership and expertise in a capital markets environment
- Support the CFO on strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 15+ years of finance experience, especially in global accounting and external audit
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in capital markets
- Extensive experience managing international accounting structures
- Successful leadership of, or a significant role in, a global SAP implementation
- Experience leading teams of 20+
- Excellent English skills (required); German (professional working proficiency preferred, not necessarily native)
- Willingness to relocate to or reside in Düsseldorf
