About the role
- Support the creation of sourcing strategies for critical parts and "above-the-box" projects
- Act as the primary bridge to the Asia Sourcing Hub
- Serve as a strategic partner to Product Development from the earliest ideation stages
- Conduct thorough market research and risk assessments
- Foster transparent communication and alignment across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain
Requirements
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement or category management
- Proven ability to analyze complex BOMs and develop risk mitigation strategies
- A solid understanding of global sourcing markets
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build consensus
- Fluency in English & conversational level (B2+) in German
