About the role
- Portfolio analysis & content strategy: You analyze the performance of audio and content formats (e.g., music, stories, games), identify drivers of success or failure, and produce fast ad-hoc analyses or conduct deep dives from which you derive actionable recommendations.
- Business consulting & enablement: You translate complex performance analyses into clear storylines for content strategy, product, and portfolio teams and enable them to make data-driven decisions (e.g., end-of-life decisions).
- Data product development: You develop robust Tableau dashboards (e.g., for content launch performance, portfolio health) and self-service solutions that allow teams to make decisions quickly and independently.
- Data modeling: You build structured content-related datasets in our data warehouse and ensure they are kept up to date.
- Data quality & governance: You trace inconsistencies from source to dashboard, support standard definitions, and ensure high data quality across all markets.
Requirements
- Experience: You bring at least 3 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or content analytics—ideally in environments involving physical and digital products (e.g., audio streaming, e-commerce, gaming).
- Business and data understanding: You have a deep understanding of portfolio performance metrics (e.g., engagement, churn) and a solid grasp of content management and product master data logic.
- Technical skills: You are proficient with data analysis and visualization tools, especially Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel. Ideally, you have experience with data warehouse systems such as Snowflake and ETL tools like dbt.
- Data products & automation: You build scalable data products or KPI suites that accelerate decision-making and influence outcomes while reducing manual work.
- Working style & personality: You have strong analytical skills, a high affinity for numbers, and a problem-solving mindset—proactive, independent, and solution-oriented.
- Communication: You possess excellent communication skills and can convey complex issues and possible solutions/recommendations clearly, structured, and understandably.
- Languages: You speak fluent German and English.
