About the role
- Lead and maintain the product master data framework across systems
- Define and uphold data standards, structures, and governance principles
- Shape and optimize product data processes
- Manage product master data, ensuring readiness for production, marketing, and sales
- Promote adherence to data standards through training and communication
- Collaborate with the Product Systems Manager and IT to enhance data flows
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
- Establish and maintain product master data dashboards
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product master data management
- Proven track record in designing and managing scalable product data frameworks across PLM, ERP, or PIM systems
- Solid understanding of product development and lifecycle processes
- Hands-on experience with PLM, PIM systems (e.g., FlexPLM, Salsify) and ERP environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented working style
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
