About the role
- Lead and nurture a high-performing engineering team
- Guide your team through technical evolutions with a clear vision
- Drive the technical execution of the product roadmap
- Champion lean principles and best practices for a testing platform
- Build and maintain a multi-domain testing platform
- Develop an extendable platform enabling seamless end-to-end testing
- Oversee the development of testing infrastructure
- Enable teams to maximize automated system test coverage
Requirements
- Experience as a passionate test engineer for many years
- Leadership experience in guiding teams through change
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices
- Proficient in Python, Robot Framework, and GitLab CI/CD
- Clean, well-structured, and maintainable code writing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Preferred environment: Linux
- Comfortable working with Git and GitLab
- Agility, teamwork, and creativity in exploring new solutions
- Comfortable communicating in both English and German in a professional work environment
- Ability to support the team on-site in Düsseldorf at least 2 times per week
