About the role
- Support the COO in setting and executing the global operations strategy
- Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives and drive accountability across global teams
- Serve as a thought partner, challenging ideas and ensuring fact-based decision-making
- Manage cross-functional initiatives that cut across operations and the CRO as well as CXO organization
- Foster collaboration across quality, supply chain, production, procurement, fulfillment, and IT
- Drive the digital transformation of operations through analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions
- Enable data-driven decision-making through dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting
- Lead strategic cross-functional and transformation projects within the COO scope
- Support the COO in managing the global operations leadership team
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing Tonies’ values of quality, safety, and customer-centricity
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in operations, supply chain, consulting, or strategy roles within the toy, consumer electronics, or broader consumer goods industries
- Strong track record in program management, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level advisory roles
- Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High proficiency in data analysis, business case development, and KPI tracking
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Experience working in international, multicultural environments with distributed teams
- Fluency in English (German highly desirable)
