About the role
- Own pipeline generation strategy: Design, test, and scale demand programs with an AI-forward, experimental mindset - moving quickly, measuring rigorously, and iterating based on signal.
- Elevate positioning and messaging: Translate technical product value into differentiated, compelling narratives for developers, data scientists, and enterprise IT/security buyers.
- Lead and grow the team: Manage a talented group across demand gen, product marketing, SDRs, and marketing ops, while leveraging agency partnerships and AI tools to extend capacity and speed.
- Manage significant budget: Oversee a multi-million-dollar marketing budget, balancing short-term performance with long-term brand and category creation.
- Build and operationalize scalable playbooks: Establish repeatable, data-driven marketing motions that accelerate pipeline growth and scale with the business.
- Executive leadership: Serve as a member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, and providing strategic insight to the board and investors.
- Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align campaigns with revenue and product goals.
Requirements
- Proven B2B SaaS marketing leadership in technical markets (DevTools, DevOps, Security, Data, MLOps; AI/ML exposure a strong plus).
- Deep demand generation expertise with an experimental, analytical mindset and experience building AI-accelerated programs.
- Startup/scale-up experience, ideally Series B+.
- Ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and deliver measurable pipeline outcomes.
- Experience marketing to developers, data teams, and technical decision-makers.
