About the role

  • Margin accounting focusing on revenue and cost of goods sold
  • Ensure deadlines for month-end close and financial reporting requirements are met and accounting activities follow TomTom policies
  • Bill Automotive and Enterprise customers
  • Ensure correct IFRS accounting
  • Analyze and review balance sheet items (mainly open accruals) and P&L results
  • Follow-up on discrepancies with finance BU controllers based on analysis
  • Support internal and external audit fieldworks and provide proper documentation
  • Participate in ad hoc projects to support management and project teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience in a medium/large organization
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external parties
  • Ability to work in a structured way, detail oriented, pro-active, take ownership and hands-on mentality
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with and knowledge of ERP accounting software (SAP preferred)
  • Experience working in an international company is beneficial
  • Strong team player and self-starter, highly motivated, able to work under pressure during peak periods
  • Fluency in English
