About the role
- Create a compelling and clear vision, strategy and roadmap for how TomTom maps meaningfully participate in advanced AD systems.
- Seek out and engagement with innovation leaders in the AD system space and craft mutually beneficial technical and commercial partnerships.
- Conduct product discovery, providing insights from business and customer perspectives.
- Work directly with multiple stakeholder teams, translating customer and feature needs into requirements for content, metrics, and processes.
- Support our commercial and customer success teams by engaging directly with strategic customers during all program phases.
- Ensure senior leadership is aligned with product vision, program execution, and customer engagement.
- Consistently and effectively collaborate with engineering teams working on related topics.
- Define clearly researched goals and measurement of success, drawing a clear connection between those metrics and overall product and company strategy.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in AI, automated driving, or engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (or similar field, AI emphasis preferred)
- Familiarity with autonomous driving concepts, technologies, and regulations
- Experience or technical training in data science, analytics, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to understand and represent customer needs and requirements
- Effective time management and demonstrated ability to excel in a remote work setting
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Mandarin and English
