About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases
- Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support
- Optimizing the sorting systems/process by sampling and testing
- Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services
- Acting as a link between our customers and Headquarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed secondary technical school (FP2) or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field
- Willingness to travel 80% or more
- Work experience in an industrial environment with a focus on on-site preventive and curative maintenance would be a big plus
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, network structures
- Native in Italian and proficient in English
- Full clean driving license required
- Knowledge of the metal scrap business and recycling processes is a plus
