About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases
Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field
Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support
Optimizing the sorting systems/process by sampling and testing
Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services
Acting as a link between our customers and Headquarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed secondary technical school (FP2) or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field
Reside within approximately 200 km radius of the Brescia area
Willingness to travel 80% or more
Work experience in an industrial environment with a focus on on-site preventive and curative maintenance would be a big plus
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and x-ray technology
Proficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, network structures
A certain talent for communication when dealing with people - in our case, these are customers
Native in Italian and proficient in English
Full clean driving license required
Knowledge of the metal scrap business and recycling processes is a plus
