About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling, and the safe movement of Defence-related equipment and materials.
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed in compliance with Toll Government & Defence contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards.
  • Use WMS, MHE, inventory management, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distribution of Defence equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve operational targets and deliver results that matter.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries (desirable but not essential).
  • A current forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A valid driver’s license (C class).
  • Must hold current NV 1 Security Clearance.
  • Working outdoors to deliver stores and equipment to defence personnel in the field.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
  • A safety-first mindset.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
