About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and optimize complex data models using Power BI and Analysis Services (SSAS / Azure Analysis Services), ensuring scalability and high performance;
Ensure data governance and security within BI tools through advanced, structured implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS) rules;
Build and optimize efficient data pipelines using ETL and ELT approaches to ensure data quality, flow, and consistency;
Share technical knowledge, data architecture standards, and development best practices (such as DAX optimization and modeling best practices) with related teams;
Work within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse), supporting the evolution and modernization of the company’s data platform;
Perform reverse engineering and continuous improvement on legacy BI solutions, focusing on efficiency gains, SQL query tuning, and reduced processing time;
Collaborate actively with data engineers and business teams to understand complex requirements and enable smooth data integration between systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Proven senior-level experience in Business Intelligence with a focus on both execution and technical architecture;
Strong expertise and hands-on experience with Power BI and Analysis Services (SSAS or Azure Analysis Services);
Extensive practical experience implementing and managing Row-Level Security (RLS);
Advanced command of ETL and ELT processes and data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake);
Practical experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem;
Advanced SQL skills for manipulating, extracting, and optimizing large volumes of data;
Collaborative profile with initiative to share knowledge and train users on the tools;
English proficiency for reading and writing technical documentation.
Preferred: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., DP-600, PL-300); experience with data architecture in Azure cloud environments; BI experience focused on business areas such as sales, finance, or marketing.
