About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Preparation of strategic legal opinions for internal areas, focusing on risk mitigation and decision-making support
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, policy clauses, terms and conditions, and other strategic documents
Advisory support to Claims, Product, Business, Commercial and Partnerships teams
Assessment of legal and regulatory impacts, with a focus on SUSEP, CNSP and legislation applicable to the insurance sector
Legal support in the development, structuring and launch of new products and operations
Participation in strategic meetings with internal stakeholders, providing legal guidance and a risk perspective
Support for matters related to regulatory authorities (including responses to official notices and inquiries)
Monitoring and interpreting legislative and regulatory changes, and disseminating knowledge to the relevant areas
Legal support on reinsurance and coinsurance matters (when applicable)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Proven experience in the Insurance industry
Proven experience in advisory/consultative legal work
Intermediate level of English
