About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participates in the review, analysis, modification, customization, development, enhancement and maintenance of applications and systems
Participates in the design, configuring, testing, debugging, and implementation phases of the application systems development process and provides technical support for application systems bug fixes, defects, issue resolution and regular maintenance
Works collaboratively with Architects, Business Analysts, technical leads, QA teams, and subject matter experts of the various upstream and downstream systems in the design and development of solutions to meet business needs
Supports QA and UAT execution and deployments in various environments
Prepares deployment plan, troubleshoots and resolves production problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering) or equivalent experience preferred
0-2 years’ experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt innovative technologies and tools
Knowledge of scripting languages and tools for creating event-driven, interactive webpages
Knowledge of tools and programming languages for writing and modifying programs that comprise an application system
Knowledge of tools and facilities for developing and populating application databases
Knowledge of source code repositories
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
Strong writing and communication skills
Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks
Knowledge of deployment automation tools and DevOps practices is a plus
Knowledge of SDLC and software support and maintenance approaches like Scrum and Waterfall
Strong customer service orientation (responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate)
Strong analytical ability with the capability to determine the root cause of problems and issues and provide solutions
