District Sales Manager
Tokio Marine HCCDistrict Sales Manager responsible for developing relationships with insurance agents in Iowa. Driving business growth through strategic planning, relationship management, and industry expertise.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a strategic territory plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents regarding ProAg’s insurance offerings
- Drive additional business through a variety of means including agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence
- Meet or exceed sales goals for both existing and new business within Iowa
- Develop and maintain a database of current and prospective agents
- Serve as a primary relationship owner, trusted advisor, and point of contact for assigned agent accounts
- Become a subject-matter expert on ProAg’s products, business, and applications
- Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify trends and changes in the marketplace
- Collaborate with internal resources to prepare and deliver training or educational events
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations
- Perform other relevant duties and projects assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least two years of sales experience, crop insurance experience preferred
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to facilitate cross-functionally
- Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business
- Required to travel outside normal work location, travel is up to 75%
- Ability to work independently, focusing on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy to succeed
- Ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies
