About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth and performance
- Collaborate with the product owner to manage and deliver on the product roadmap
- Guide architectural decisions for a new application
- Maintain and improve legacy PHP applications
- Write and review code, primarily in .NET and React
- Implement best practices in CI/CD and cloud-based development
- Ensure high quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery
- Partner closely with product management to define and execute the roadmap
- Contribute directly to code and architecture in a role split 50% people management and 50% hands-on technical work
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–10 years in a lead or senior engineering role
- 5–6 years of experience with .NET
- 4–5 years of experience with AWS
- 2–3 years of experience with React
- Strong experience with SQL Server
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop engineering teams
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with PHP, mobile development, payments, React Native, B2B SaaS, or rock climbing/gym industry listed as nice to have only
