About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth and performance
  • Collaborate with the product owner to manage and deliver on the product roadmap
  • Guide architectural decisions for a new application
  • Maintain and improve legacy PHP applications
  • Write and review code, primarily in .NET and React
  • Implement best practices in CI/CD and cloud-based development
  • Ensure high quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery
  • Partner closely with product management to define and execute the roadmap
  • Contribute directly to code and architecture in a role split 50% people management and 50% hands-on technical work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10 years in a lead or senior engineering role
  • 5–6 years of experience with .NET
  • 4–5 years of experience with AWS
  • 2–3 years of experience with React
  • Strong experience with SQL Server
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop engineering teams
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with PHP, mobile development, payments, React Native, B2B SaaS, or rock climbing/gym industry listed as nice to have only
